    webley mk3 aftermarket sight?

Can an mk3 be fitted with an aftermarket sight that is adjustable for both windage and height?
(to fit original dovetail cutout, not supertarget style)

    Hi Yana,

The only contemporary sight available was the standard turret sight with the option of a PH aperture sight as an extra.

    Kind regards,

Doesnt have to be original as long as it fits and adjustable. Williams maybe?
It will shoot ragged holes all day long at 6 yrds only at the wrong spot now

    Williams

A Williams will fit a wide range of dovetails so a good bet as long as it adjusts low enough.
I use one on a HW30S and rate it highly.

The fitting of either the PH 17b or 16m sights to a Mk.III require the drilling and tapping of the cylinder.
I haven't yet come across a suitable aftermarket replacement rear sight for the dovetail fitting on the Mk.III

I am resurrecting this thread I the hope that someone can measure the front and rear dovetails on their mk3 for me.
I will be picking up an old mk3 soon with no sights and would like to drift in some cheap dovetail sights rather than forking out for originals which are hard to come by and expensive.
I've seen some nice rears almost identical to those on a mk2 airsporter for not much money and there is a plethora of front sights available, but I need the measurement for the bottom of the dovetail in inches. Cheers folks
