Shame I never got to taste the Barnsley brew; although I do love the Smith's.

A "form of" Barnsley Bitter is currently brewed by a couple of local craft breweries in the area Tony and are very good. As to whether they match the original I can't say as I cannot clearly remember the exact taste of the Oakwell brew. It was afterall 46 years ago !
