Scope mount suggestions \ best options

Hi All

Have a BSA R12 CLX Pro.
Unfortunately for whatever reason it seems BSA have thought it best to cut their Dovetails at 13 MM (???? WTF)

So I'm going to mount up these Dovetail to Picatinny adaptors.

Looking for a good set of mounts which need to be self centering and not quick release etc
I was looking at these rings

Sports Match have a range of 13mm dovetail mounts available for 30mm scope tubes in medium to extra high.

BSA have obviously carried over the 13mm dovetails from the maxigri rail.

They're 11mm but cut deep and sharp.

The chubby noses of the Sportsmatch 11mm clamps are too fat to engage properly so kick out to one side

Well BKL would of been my go to also ((I have them on my Daystate).
But when i read about BSAs rail size of 13 MM looking around very very few vendors had a 13 MM rail size for their mounts.

You are saying the rail size on the CLX pro is not 13 MM ..???

Take back everything I said! Just tried searching for all mounts on Optics Warehouse with 13mm fit, and came up with a slack handful, and none of them BKL, although I'm sure BKL do 13mm

BKL fit all sizes of rail. Isn't it just the springers that have the odd sized rails?

Yes had those on my shopping list
Just purchased an 80mm and 50 mm Dovetail to Picatinny adaptor.

Now to start on rings..
Shame BKL don't do picatinny mounts (or that BSA cut their rails to a "Normal" Size ...

My old Ultras have 13mm rails & the Sportsmatch 13mm mounts seem to sit central so should be OK on any other 13mm rails
