    Buxted Open HFT - 07/02/2016 Round 3

    Hi Everyone,

    Sunday 7th February we will be hosting Round 3 of our winter league.

    It will be a 30 shot course set to UKAHFT rules. The format will be 15 pegs with 2 targets per peg.

    Open to ALL safe shooters.

    Booking in from 9.00am, safety briefing 9.45am, start @ 10.00am. All shooters MUST attend the safety briefing.

    Guests £7, members £2

    Make sure you are aware of new 2016 rule changes.

    Anyone wishing to use a windicator remember it must be fixed in exactly the same position from shot 1 to shot 30 so if it is on a folding arm like some rifles have fitted as standard it must be in the open position if you wish to use it from your first shot until you take your last. How you can put it in your bag between shots I don't know but that is the rule.

    Well if you can design one that works for prone shots, you can poke through trees without breaking it off, put in your gun bag without snagging, you could be in with a winner.

    I can't think of many hunting rifles that use windicators

    I feel so guilty for all my littering over the past shoots.
    Plan to shoot close to Topher, he's good for a vapor check and far from any
    fellow shooters who may fall from above !
