    HW 77/97 Screw Sets?

    Can anyone let me know where I can get a good quality stainless stock and trigger guard hexagon headed screw set and cups from please for an HW97?

    Are you sure you want Hexagon head ? you need a bit of clearance to get the tool round the fastener.

    I think he means allen key screws or aka socket head screws.
    For supply, try Screwfix ... have a look at their on-line catalogue or even search the bay for stainless socket screws. Pretty ceetain you wil find some ... I found stainless fore end stock screws with no trouble a while ago.

    Yes,socket head screws,thanks.Can cups be found at Screwfix too,by the way?

    I don't think they can - I've only found the flatter type designed to take screw heads. I'm also after some cups for a stock that I'm making.

    I'll try TR Robb today if I get time.

    Cups can be got at Screwfix but are in brass not stainless. I have just checked their website and the cups are marked 'clearance' which usually suggests they are not going to stock them any more ... and the bag is for 100 of them. Still good value compared to some 'spares' prices but you might be better off searching the bay for them as you only need a couple.
