    It's a Webley Mark 1.
I paid £120 for a nice one last year.

As to value an expert will be along shortly ,no doubt.
There are many factors to take into account and I tend to drift off when they are explained to me.

It's a pre WW2 straight grip Webley MK1 probably from somewhere in the late 1920's to early 30's.Value in that condition approx 150 pounds I would guess.

I am no expert,by the way!

Yes, Webley Mk1 from around 1927. If the other side is as good as the one shown in the pic, then £120 for a private sale would be a very good price. You would pay a lot more in a shop or fair.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

I think £120 is too low.

    I'd advertise at £150 and accept £135+.

This looks to be in a very nice condition and worth that bit extra.

I would expect a dealer to sell a Mk1 in similar condition for around £150 - £170 so, £120 - £150 would seem a realistic estimate for a private sale.

    Regards

I agree with paulr, go looking for one specifically and see what you have to pay. I note nobody asked if there was a box with it which would add, probably, another fifty quid.

So if you had half a gun to go with your half box it would be about £75?
