    id this webley pistol for me

    Hi guys ,can some knowledgable person identify this webley pistol for me.. and if possible a rough value ....

    It's a Webley Mark 1.
    I paid £120 for a nice one last year.

    As to value an expert will be along shortly ,no doubt.
    There are many factors to take into account and I tend to drift off when they are explained to me.

    It's a pre WW2 straight grip Webley MK1 probably from somewhere in the late 1920's to early 30's.Value in that condition approx 150 pounds I would guess.

    I am no expert,by the way!

    Yes, Webley Mk1 from around 1927. If the other side is as good as the one shown in the pic, then £120 for a private sale would be a very good price. You would pay a lot more in a shop or fair.

    I think £120 is too low.

    I'd advertise at £150 and accept £135+.

    This looks to be in a very nice condition and worth that bit extra.
