Lol ...too busy fiddling with an airgun

And it was actually good - 2 more episodes to follow ...

Been a while since we had proper progs on weapons ..last one I remember was that BBC one anda Prof ? using a Baker and Brown Bess in live fire demonstrations ...Those were the days .

I liked the chap with the long bow. His voice was a bit unexpected, I thought it would be more Brian Blessed

    Strain of pulling that bow?

Yup ...and thought the beard was a safety hazard with the 140lbs (?) draw strength - but amazing feat - have been tempted to ask to buy a Yew bow - would have to be the lighterweight for me

Enjoyed what I saw and I expect that most of us shooters also love and respect bows. I have a budget bow (30lbs draw weight I think) which I've not used in years. I'd guess the limbs will be cream crackered by now as I never de-strung it!

I'll try and watch the repeat on Sunday and next week it's onto guns!!

I wonder if we see any mention of those old pre-charged military Airguns? That WOULD be awesome!

140 lb draw bow was quite impressive
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
