Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series 2015/16 – Series Winners and Round Four Results

Well done and very many thanks to everybody who turned up for the final round of the Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series today. We were fortunate in that the weather held up, although the ground was a little soggy. Oh, and then there was the wind - rather tricky! Nevertheless, I hope that a good day was had by all.

Firstly, very many congratulations to our ‘class’ winners for the series. Unfortunately, there were insufficient numbers shooting in both the 'Ladies' and 'Junior' classes and no awards were presented there. That said, the winners of the series were:-

    Open
    1st place – Richard Woods
    2nd place – Bob Pattenden
    3rd place – Justin Rayner

    .22/Recoiling
    1st place - Maciek Pajek
    2nd place – Derek Watson
    3rd place – John Kirkwood

I have loaded the data into a spreadsheet, so that the results for the whole series can be viewed in full.

Please also find below, today’s final round results published in the usual format. Any errors are mine alone and if you would be kind enough to ‘ping me’ a note, I will make any necessary corrections.

How mad was that wind today? How small were those kill zones?
Thanks Hawkies for another cracking hunter series, always enjoy shooting something a little different.
To think I nearly threw 30 pellets in the bin and went back to bed this morning.
I had no idea I was on for a trophy, I would have stayed to collect it other wise.

Thanks Phil & crew for another great series.

One favour to ask for next year, can you turn the wind machine down abit

If Bob's trophy is up for sale, how much is it? Might PM him and ask if he wants to swap

    Cheers all,
    Justin

    Bit o'wind!

Not seen a score sheet like that before. Says it all really - no one hit a 50! When did that last happen!
