great thread, I love to see things being "recovered" like this; too easy to just throw away or give up... keep up the good work !
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
I managed to get some photos of the BSA last Friday.

a bit of aging that will hopefully blend in better as time goes on. Replicating 100+ years of conditioning could take a while

Totally fabulous job you have made of resurrecting that old BSA. I am in awe of yours, and Jeffs talents. That rifle is now fit for the next 100 years. Great Read !!
Congratulations !

A very nice job you have done there, another one that will give years more enjoyment.
Only just realised I've met this talented couple of restorers! Apologies for being so slow witted. You are saving the lives of gear that nearly went in the bin.

I remember you quite clearly Trevor. Funny that
Not all of it is due for the bin Trevor, equally, not much ends up there either.
Apologies nor required mate, your hospitality that day said enough and was appreciated. Maybe we can catch up again some day?
How are the new digs, have you settled in well?
BTW, thanks, the S20 is still going nice

P.S. We are still getting mileage from the magazines; some pages were missing though

I hadn't forgotten you or Jeff.I simply didn't read the thread. We have been here a year and are settled. Quite a few rules one must get used to..
All in good humour .
Regulations and rules, it seems there are more of the damned things every day
