    if i remember the original advertising correctly..the glass is made in Japan but assembled in Korea ...i have the 4-12 x50 AO but not in gloss and badged Webley platinum ...this scope was also rebadged for Parker Hale ... i did have a 3.5-10X45 non AO that i sold ..it was very nice but not optically as good as my 4-12x50..it had a little barrel distortion so objects look a little bigger in the middle of the image than the sides so looked strange when you move the scope

    Yeah you are right, I have the Parker Hale 4-12x50AO on my Brumbow. The only difference is Premier instead of Platinum, Gold writing and Matt black body. Bought mine off here years ago and never seen another Still have all my Platinums and all still in use!!!!!!!!!
