No takers then
Just wondered if anyone on here bought it, i was tempted because I have the next serial number up and might have made a pair, but the stock on the holts jobbie was just a bit too damaged for me...
No takers then
Next one up and you didn't bid
Wasn't me..
I saw it Tuesday night. I'd have passed seeing the state of the stock. Wondered round the hall for ages and didn't get offered any wine. I mustn't have looked posh enough! Perhaps my trousers weren't the right shade of mustard or bright red
What was the serial and what did it go for?
Some surprises, but nice to see more bidding shared between room, internet, commission and telephone.
Highlights for me:
Lot 600 Webley Mk 1 Air Rifle Hammer £400 Total £520
Lot 606 Webley MK1 Air Pistol (Crackle Finish) Hammer £120 Total £156

Crackle finish mk1? Was that a factory product?

I too have never heard of or seen a Webley factory produced 'crackle finish' Mk.I air pistol, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't exist.
