    Southern Hunters Round 10 results

First of all many thanks to the whole team at Bisley for setting a cracking course to end our series - a great deal of work went into that!

May I also express my thanks to Terry Aiken, Chris Roberts, Lewis Hodges, Gary Chillingworth and Brigitte Vant for your support and effort that makes this series a success and to Claire West at Air Arms for continuing to support for the series.

We had 118 score cards returned today so the fact that the session was finished in less than four hours was an excellent reflection on the course and those shooting it.

    Recoil: Chris Tyhurst
    Ladies: Penny Holland
    Junior: Dominic Taylor
    0.22: Ed Tandi

Platinums were won by: Steve Edmundson, Justin Rayner, Alex Larkin

The League trophies were as follows:
    Open:
    1st Richard Woods
    2nd Charles Peal
    3rd Simon Vant
    4th Colin Wilson
    5th Jenny Stone

    Recoil:
    1st Chris Tyhurst
    2nd Daryl Bell
    3rd Rex Bennet

    Ladies:
    1st Brigitte Vant
    2nd Jean Greatrex
    3rd Penny Holland

    Junior:
    1st Abi Maw
    2nd Dominic Taylor

    0.22
    1st Ed Tandi
    2nd Nick Byrne
    3rd Vince Blackman

The Air Arms bag was won by Mark Stanley and the TX200 was won by Dominic Taylor

Fantastic day and my 1st visit to Bisley and I even managed to get to shoot a 308 & an Enfield as I was talking to the guys and both were the loudest guns I've ever herd and they kindly let me have a few shots

Excellent course and I thoroughly enjoyed it and well done to Chris Tyhurst in our shoot off, (Just wished I had done a few more rounds)

Well done to all the winners today & overall

Well done to all involved who make these shoots possible for us to all have a good time

Hope to see most of you next week

    Atb Harry.

Well done Bisley and the Southern Hunters crew, you produced a challenging and professional series!

It takes people like yourselves, to stand up and make a difference, whilst the rest of us reap the rewards!
    (or not in my case)

We don't talk about scores on this thread though, it is actually illegal!

What a shoot off! UP THE OAKS!!

Big well done to Dopper for doing what had to be done! Also all the other class winners!!

    Spongey out! XX

    Lost Property

One point I forgot to mention in the first post there was one shooting mat and one cushion left behind at the end of the shoot, they are both still at Bisley but if it helps and you ask nicely I am sure one of the Bisley guys can take them up to the Worlds for you.

I'd echo all of the above sentiments - without a doubt, the Southern Hunters Series is definitely the best way to get one's HFT "fix" during the long winter months.

Each and every one of the 27 members of Meon Valley who rocked up at Bisley thoroughly enjoyed the day
