Where issues relating to the FAS 6004.....?

...., like lack of vertical adjustment and quality of rear sight screw arrangement, ever addressed by the company?

Now that they've been out a while, what is the general verdict?

Not sure how widespread those issues were. The lack of elevation adjustment might have been related to how the barrel had been aligned on individual pistols (i.e. shimmed in the overlever or not). The stripped thread might have been related to a long steel screw in a short threaded alloy hole. Either way not good.

There was a recent sales thread HERE that mentioned an improved version, never heard of these improvements before, you could give BAR a call to ask about them.

Don't know about any 'improvements' by the maker but the lack of rear sight adjustment (inability to lower point of aim) has been dealt with by some by simply shimming sight unit. Have a look here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z

    Hope this helps.
