I bought my new Relum Tornado from a Kays club book in 1971.
If I remember correctly it was also possible to buy shotguns from the catalogue as well at that time !
How times have changed....

I also remember when my mums catalogue sold air guns, i used to be able to flick straight to the page where as a 14 year old i'd drool at the airguns & read every single line of the ad. i can remember the Relum Tornado had double concentric springs which made it sound more powerful, there was also the ASI Paratrooper that got me excited.
Best Xmas i ever had as a boy was when i got a brand new BSA air rifle for xmas, nothing else mattered & i was down the dump boxing day until i ran out of pellets.
Bluewater shopping centre wasn't there then, it was two deep giant chalk pits.
