Not sure if there's one on the WOC?

I've not stripped one. Maybe not ever so easy, but do-able if you take your time, if I remember correctly.

If you do a search on here, I think you'll find some informative posts on stripping and different guide layouts / lubrication advice.
Cheers Tony, see you tomorrow !

I guess the dieseling is worse on full power?
Which to be fair I don't use on my .177.
I have a .22 Silver Star which is ok as well and I only use that on full power.

I remember giving my first .177 45 a bit of lube some years ago.
It never stopped exploding after that.
    Quite scary.
Luckily I sold it to a chap who liked the BANG!

The opened barrelled pistol does not appear to be clogged with grease and looks in very good order !
I have not interferred with the gun internally.
This is with RWS Hobby's by the way !

    Thanks.
If it didn't diesel I'd complain. Even mine after many years still smells on the 1st couple of shots.

Btw, in case you don't already know, you can buy 009 imperial nitrile o-rings very cheap on the bay. You don't need to spend a fortune on a single seal from a gunshop. I bought a pack of 10 for around £1 delivered a few years back.

Got the new breech seal fitted and the dieseling seems to have lessened a little. (not due to the new breech seal obviously)

I'll give it a better workout later today !

    They can diesel very badly.
The only cure I found was a strip down and de-grease.
Rebuild with very little lube on the piston.
The dry firing idea helps too - the piston seal is big enough to cushion the blow.

I put about 60 pellets through it yesterday and the dieseling has lessened probably due to things "drying out" I guess ?

    Lovely pistol mind !
