    Emley Moor and Redferns

    What a great weekend.
Thanks for a great couple of days, both the courses were interesting, clever and very deceptive. Well done to the course designers.
A very warm welcome was recieved at both sites, the camping site was very good, and running water fantastic.

Hope to see you all at the next round. Duncan and Chris.

It was an excellent weekend - just terrible results on my part (as for some others)!

The oragnisation by Trev, Russel and others at Emley Moor by Dave Baines (that man still needs therapy!!), "H", David and others at Redfearn was irreproachable, all very professional.

That these UKAHFT shoots were fully subscribed speaks for itself - these were attractive, enjoyable events.

After packing the (hotel) tent, I got home (313 miles) in 4.5 hours, that was better than the 6 hours going up - now 2 am and off to bed!

    Will post the photos later.

I'd like to echo all the above, had a great weekend only spoiled by my van boiling over on the way up and a couple of times on the way home, having called out the RAC about 20 miles from home after nursing the van for 200 miles in all took 6 and a half hours getting home at 2.30 am, (should have been about 3 and a half hours) RAC bloke turned out to be a shooting man so ended up talking shooting at 1am on the M3. Most prob head gasget rang Toyota's this morning, quoted 9 hours at £95 per hour labour £855 plus parts and i suppose VAT, too shocked to ask if it was included. They wont be getting my custom. Apart from that as i said a great weekend and thanks to all those that made it possible and who i shot with.
It's also nice to see Dave Shaw "Davestate" settled with another gun for a couple of weeks

    Thumbs up

Me and the lad had a great weekend - shot in the second round both days and live local so even got a lay in

Two really great courses - I swear that Mr Baines has been training the trees that entwined each other around that mini kill

Great to meet new faces and to see old friends again. Even got to beat the lad on both days - this doesn't happen very often these days

Well done to all involved and to all who took part.

    Dave.

PS - can we have cake at all future events?
