    Feinwerkbau 150 Tyrollean

I have a Feinwerkbau Model 150 with a Tyrollean stock for sale.

The Tyrollean stock is a nice variant of the Model 150 that is comfortable to shoot and is very good to look at. This one has the standard barrel (not the heavy bull barrel) that feels nicely balanced when in the hold.

The rifle is in exceptionally nice condition and shoots really well and can be inspected and shot prior to purchase by anyone that is able to travel to Rossendale.

As an accurate match rifle it would be an excellent choice to shoot in the 6 yard MPL series, classic bell target matches and is still competitive at 10 metres having lost none of its function (or good looks) after 52 years since being manufactured.

This rifle has obviously had a very sheltered life and has been really well cared for.

I am asking £425 for this rare and fine example of a very collectible airgun classic.

I can also arrange to have the rifle delivered by carrier ( at buyers risk) to most UK addresses for £20.00.

Wow that's stunning. Good luck with the sale, Bob.

For anyone thinking of buying, go for it. These are fantastic rifles.

From the serial number it would have been manufactured in the last quarter of 1964.
Very nice. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the info - 1964 was indeed a very good year

This beautiful lady does not look 52 years old - but she is!

    Hi,

Is the rifle still for sale. If so could you tell me whether the stock has been refinished? It's just that it looks like it might have been from the photos.

    Thanks.

Yes - the rifle is still for sale.

I bought this rifle several years ago and it has not had any refinishing since I have had it and it looks genuine to me

The rifle has exactly the same finish as other Feinwerkbau rifles that I have in my collection so I very much doubt if anybody else has ever refinished it in its previous history either.

The dark "toffee apple" finish that FWB lavished on all of their period rifles would not be easy to replicate and I would have thought that anyone wanting to refinish a classic like this would prefer to give it a different finish and show the woodgrain rather than spray over it as FWB always seemed to do.

I also have a bull barrel FWB 150 that I have had a few years longer than this one and that has the same finish - and in turn it looks like my 300S and 300SU rifles too!

You would be welcome to inspect the rifle and compare it with any other FWB rifle that I have or any that you would like to bring with you to compare it with.

I think the problem is that this is such a rare and almost unused rifle that it looks too good but if you come and inspect it "in the flesh" you will be satisfied - as I was when I bought it.

I have just returned from holiday and answered all enquiries .

The rifle is still for sale - it is in such good condition (for its age) - that somebody actually thought that it had been re-finished !!!

I guess that is a compliment in some ways ( I think ) but the rifle has not been restored and it is available for any inspection from anyone with enough knowledge to confirm it is exactly as it was when it first left the Feinwerkbau factory in 1964.

This rifle is in remarkable original condition and still shoots and "feels" like a new rifle - or like one that has had no use from new - and would make an ideal rifle to use in the MPL competitions
