Of that, you are assured, young Phil.

I'm confident that it'll remain reliable for the long term. But, you know what? Even if it ever packed up and if I couldn't fix it / have it fixed / get parts, it'd always make a lovely ornament and shining example of precision engineering, fine detailing and excellent finish.

    I love this gun.

Wonky has all the parts to service these mate; buy some basic spares, in case you ever need them
Single spring is more power efficient for no more stress than the original double.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Thanks very much for that, Jon.

Seem to remember someone saying once before that Wonky would have the parts. Will get hold of the man.

Mark (CapitalBee)'s 300 that I tried at The Bash had a single Maccari spring I seem to remember him telling me.

    Thanks again,

    Tone.

Correct, I also purchased the seal and buffer insert at the same time, which made the purchase quite favourable when compared to the UK (Wonky excluded, as I didn't know he held service parts)

Steady on boys! You are all making me lust for another springer from the land of leiderhosen & pumpernickel.....

From the Quigley Hollow Airgunner's Dictionary:

    Pumpernickle:
An airgun piston, much loved by tuning enthusiasts, often fabricated from Cornish alloy.

    I'll get my coat!

I'll be lunching (and dining) at the Hollow this very day.

The gate's open and the kettle's on Gwyn.

The campsite is slightly damp but is drying out quickly in the sunshine.

    All the best Mick

I'm just off to M. Bricolage for some mole landmines if anyone wants some? I don't have moles, but theres evidence of mice in the kitchen and I have a plan for a "Mouse Canon!"

Yes, yes, yes, if you can get your hands on a 300S, do so, matey!

Lusted after one for years. My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner.

You know that saying that goes something along the lines of "don't meet your hero" , (as you'll be disappointed)?

Well, it certainly DOES NOT apply in the 300's case!

Hope you have had a wonderful dining experience at our beloved Hollow today!
