I'm confident that it'll remain reliable for the long term. But, you know what? Even if it ever packed up and if I couldn't fix it / have it fixed / get parts, it'd always make a lovely ornament and shining example of precision engineering, fine detailing and excellent finish.

Wonky has all the parts to service these mate; buy some basic spares, in case you ever need them
Single spring is more power efficient for no more stress than the original double.

Correct, I also purchased the seal and buffer insert at the same time, which made the purchase quite favourable when compared to the UK (Wonky excluded, as I didn't know he held service parts)

It could well have been a Cornish mole, it had six toes, webbed feet and I baited the trap with a pasty.

I'm just off to M. Bricolage for some mole landmines if anyone wants some? I don't have moles, but theres evidence of mice in the kitchen and I have a plan for a "Mouse Canon!"
