Hi Everyone,
We have arranged to host an open shoot on Sunday 24th April, as there does not appear to be too much happening in the Surrey / Sussex area - mainly due to the first round of the Nationals taking place. The shoot is not part of a wider summer series (or similar) and, apart from the delight of winning or otherwise exceeding your own expectations, there will be no prizes awarded. Nevertheless, it would be good to see you there.
As said, the shoot will be on Sunday 24th April 2016. Gates will open at 8.30am with ‘booking in’ commencing at 9.00am. The shoot will start at 10.00am after a safety briefing scheduled for 9.45am. You must be at the safety briefing if you intend to shoot.
Guests £7.00
Members and juniors £4.00
As many cars as possible will be accommodated in the wood. Some may have to be parked further along the road. Should this occur, a marshal will be on hand to assist with directions.
Tea and coffee will be available free of charge, but no burger van will be present.
Please note that the landowner has asked that no dogs be allowed on the shooting ground at Horsham. As this is an immutable condition of us using the ground, could I please ask that dogs be left in cars in the car-park and that they are exercised before coming to the ground.
