    The air is squirted down the barrel, thats how it travels so fast in comparison to the slow moving piston, that's all..

    Of course it is ... at least it was when I was a nipper with a little air rifle. We used to put water in it and it squirted out when the trigger was pulled.

    Peppercorns always worked for us in years gone buy when pennies were tight, just sort out the sizes roughly.

    Most sales open to swaps for older BSA’s, projects and or incomplete/bits. Currently quietly developing a hankering for a nice S10 BBK………..
