Double tap, oops
HI All.
Having been trawling throo various, powders/books and the internet, any one out there, use RL15, from there load date, it appears to be able to cover all the calibers I load in the one powder! like my old varget used too.
Any comments from anyone loading for.

Good deals with: Muskett, Dreben, roger.kerry, TALL, Helidave1, Chelseablue, Leeroy7031, Mousemann, pnuk, Practical, NEWFI, HOOGS, Webb22, lazybones1416 and deanw5262 among others. Thanks Guys.
I've reloaded all those calibre except the 303 with Reloader15, it worked fine but I never really shot enough of it to get a good feel for it in the larger cartridges. As it became harder to get I keep RL15 just for the .223 and use a Hodgdon powder for the bigger cased cartridges, purely as it was available and seems to work just as well.
If you want the loads I used I can dig them out for you. The only one I can remember off the top of my head is the 308 which was 45.6gn with a 155 FMJ bullet. The others were of a similar laod except the 30-30 which was quite a bit lighter so I loaded it on a different press.

I've done RL15 in 308 and 303 without problems. I'm not sure that Viht N140 isn't a better target powder, though.

If it were me steevie and you really want a single do it all powder I'd look at RS52.
Stick to Varget, it's still available.

No longer Pumpin Oil but still Passin Gas!
I use it in my 6br
I have used it until I worked out that it is a double based powder, therefor burns hotter I went back to N140 and RS50 both work well as they always have.
RL15 is a handy powder whose burn rate means it works in many cartridges and is excellent in the most commonly used cartidges.
in this respect it is similar to H4895, N140 or a few other powders in the same burn range.
It it gives top velocity in my 308 with 165 grain bullets, works well with light bullets in the 3006 and 243 too.
