Not had it on a pistol, and I know you are from the dark side, but I have had rifles with the system on, and really don't think its any thing worth bothering with, no better than a well stippled grip.
It is definately non slip, so perhaps if you are prone to sweaty hands may be.
My German market price list is well out of date so pointless telling you the price, but that shows the 3D - Protouch grip as the same price as the 3D - Walnut, with the 5D-vario- Protouch about 30% more.

Walther KK500 Alutec expert special - Barnard .223 "wilde" in a Walther KK500 Alutec stock, mmm...tasty!! - Keppeler 6 mmBR with Walther grip and wood! I may be a Walther-phile?
Thanks Robin,
Comes in at about the same as a walnut rink so not a cheaper option & having not used one I can't help thinking I'd be better getting a rink one made unless the pro touch was superior in some way, I was also concerned about how long the finish would last before looking tatty,
Thanks, I think you have given me the answer I need
Cheers Nige

Have not been impressed with my protouch rifle, the paint is wearing off the hamster and l think the whole woodwork is ugly. Not one of my best buys.
I've got a ProTouch grip on my LG400 and been using it for coming up to 2 yrs and still looks like new. I like the feel a lot.
I ended up going for one, mainly as they were available next day & anything else was weeks away, should have it Friday so we'll see then
