Ultra shrouds and cylinder extensions

Couple of queries for a BSA Ultra SE please:
1. Can I fit a cylinder extension extending right underneath a Weihrauch mod, or is the mod too wide o/d (ie I need a shroud instead)?
2. What sort of shot could improvement could I expect (.22) from 230, 250 and 325mm cylinders compared to the standard 170mm as fitted?
3. Is the cylinder replacement doable on a DIY basis?

Hi mate
I have also looked into doing the same as your self regarding the fitting of a longer cylinder on my 177 ultra SE.
If you go on the xtxair web site ,it has some info regarding shot count on the different sizes of cylinder that BSA make.
I am after a 325mm long cylinder to replace my 170mm cylinder, I have put a post up in the wanted section but have had no luck yet. You will have to use a slim type silencer or a shroud .
The 325mm cylinder is about £62 from Xtxair or John knibbs .
