Hi Nick,how are you getting on with it? Is it much different to the LP10,I'm guessing it's slightly lighter because of the ventilated shroud. I have to say I couldn't see the point of the cantable sights,but I could be wrong.of the 2 new pistols released,I'd be more interested to try the FWB as it looked more of a departure from the previous model,with an improved sight line

Well it's not a lot different to a standard LP10 as you probably guessed.

You have a bit more control on the weight.
Barrel weights fit better and don't mark the gun.
Tilting adjustable sights of no real use to me.
Bit more access for loading.
Grip is a big improvement.
Gun looks a bit nicer.
It's a better gun than an LP10. But not by much.

Would have thought the Evo would have been snapped up by now, can't be many available at a used price, don't think there's many new at full price yet, be interested to hear how you get on the the P8X, looks to be a complete redesign rather than a re-vamp of an already available model. Seems to be a demand for it as well, are you sure you only want the one Nick

Amazed it hasn't sold. There arnt any available. Steyr are waiting for the next delivery.

Mine is no great bargain, but I don't care. haven't tried very hard to sell it.
It's available today and the buyer will save about £150.

Regarding the P8X. Quite excited to see that.
Who said I only want one.

The P8X really reminds me of the P34 with the flat sight line. That was the first pistol I ever used and really liked it so I may be tempted to go for one.

The FWB looks good, I can't wait to see Nick's. Also the Prestons have now have some EVO Electronics in.....and I'm keen to have a go with one of them too. I wonder if Morini will bring anything out in response. ...
