    John Bowkett SSP rifles

I'm curious as to what has become of the small number of John Bowkett single stroke pneumatics that he built in the 80s and 90s. Do any Forum members have them stashed away? Are there any available for sale?

I picked up a beech stocked .22 last year, put a .177 barrel assembly on it, wish i had the thumbhole stock though!

Sure did mate. Took a bit if thought but replaced the missing springs and got her running again.
On her way back to restoration now.

    JB SSP Pistol

If anyone is interested I have a rare SSP JB pistol. Only 12 made - each to a comission.
Not really for sale as JB has given me a signed letter of provenance describing the history of the pistol, so a bit special.
Cant post pics on this forum yet (newbie) but can send pics another way if anyone seriously intrested.

    Me too!

I bought a JB1 off Mitch just before Christmas. Not got round to taking any pictures yet, having too much fun getting to grips with it.
I did have some issues fitting a scope, the dovetail rail is very badly fitted.
You can see why so many were returned, but mine's a keeper

    Good luck, Phil
