    Anschutz 335

    Evening chaps , looking for a date on the above .22 335 s/no 66846
The rifle is in very good to excellent condition all round , marks out of ten I would say 9+
The bluing is spot on , no marks or blemishes

The beech woodwork is all original with the varnish intact and no bruising
By the look of it the action has never been out of the stock as the screws look mint
Cocks and shoots lovely and the only thing missing is the foresight

There is a sticker on the stock that reads Weitschuss this could be a dealers name not sure ?
Any ideas on price , as might stick it up for sale

    Thanks Mike

Its got the basic trigger guard, pressed steel not cast, and the parallel barrel release catch so prior to 1979.

Weitschuss = long range. That means not a target (10 meters) version (lower energy) but with close to 7,5 joules muzzle energy.

Usual price at egun in this condition 160 €.

    £123.80.
I wouldn't sell mine for that Jochen.
Nice guns that are not that common over here.

good decision every collector should have such a solid 355

Would like to add some words about "Weitschuss". AFAIK Anschütz did not produce two 355 versions (target-shooting and "pest control" = Weitschuss). Others might have done so and offering them with different stocks (and peep-sight etc.)

    That's interesting I have a 355 with a Walther Diopter sight.
I thought it was a 'Target model 'as it has no mountings for a rearsight in the usual place at the rear of the barrel.

    Standard sporter stock
    .177
    No. 66408
    Marked 335
Looks the same as ordinary 335
But no provision to attach rearsight.

    Will email pic later.
