    hw45 age?

Afternoon all, just sorted myself a second hand hw45 in .177 flavour, is there a way to find its age? It has the black sights, not the coloured ones, if that helps?

My newer one has the number on the left hand side of the grip. Don't know about the older ones though, sorry.

Black sights = older = probably better. But look out for galling from the pair of cocking arms in their slots, at any age. That nasty graunchy feeling won't be cured by a drop 'o gun oil...

Email HW in Germany quoting the serial number and they will tell you how old it is.

my one wore the groove wider than it should, some time one of the cocking links would pop out. got rid of it then.

I believe patriotism comes from the heart. Patriotism is voluntary. It is a feeling of loyalty and allegiance that is the result of knowledge and belief.
