    Airgun World July Issue

Did Airgun World decide that it was ok to send out their publication by post in see through packaging ? I've just got my issue in see through cover. No big deal, I'm happy to receive it that way, mind you, be interesting to see if other subscribers are happy with this.

Should it make a difference? It is a legitimate mag about a legitimate and lawful hobby. let's not make a problem where there is none. The hell with the antis and PC advocates I'd say.

Yes ... I agree with your sentiments entirely; but if hassle can be avoided by the simple use of the grey bag again, I would suggest a grey bag is used.

    Cheers, Phil

I get my Guns and Ammo, Rifle Shooter and Hunting magazines from US in transparent covers and never thought of it being an issue.

    Be proud of your sport.

No doubt subscribers receive their copy of transsexuals weekly proudly in a see through cover, God forbid that the postman is subjected to the sheer perversion of an airgun magazine

For me, it's not really a case of being ashamed or proud of our hobby but more to do with security. Everyone handling the magazine en route will know the recipient is passionate enough about airguns to take out a subscription.

I therefore prefer the plain cover.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

With regard to security Cheshire police concerned me more by sending round two uniformed armed response officers in place of the now retired plain clothed firearm enquiry officer.

I have to say I didn't think about it...., but I have thought about it when sitting down on the Portsmouth to Cardiff train on occation opened my beloved read and feeling a little unsure of myself especially when rolling through the hunting articles with dead wabbits, squzzers and pigeons ect pictured....... I am fearful of offending Someone, even though I'm well within my rights. This a bizarre feeling.

I decided to subscribe to this magazine. I found it is much cheaper to do sending to the USA then having them sent to my South Africa home address.

Yikes..... I don't ever get the things I order in South Africa anyway, everything vanishes! This place is a nightmare for the post. I will end up missing out on some of the issues when I'm in RSA, but they will be back in the USA when I get back to that farm. I do enjoy being able to share my interests on this site with you fine gents every day though!

Yep, undecided on this one. Mine landed this morning, too.

Yes, we have a fantastic sport / hobby which we should be justly proud about.

And what if postie thought, "Ooh, that looks interesting, maybe I might look into getting into this"?

Or a dodgy postie, with dodgy contacts????
