    Tasco 1.75-5x20wa questions

    Evening all,
I have come across one of these and am thinking about buying it. It is gloss black and from the 80s I would guess. No box, mounts or bikini thingy.
Can anyone shed any light on what sort of use they were intended for and how good they are. Also what is a fair price?
    Cheers

Looks like this is a relatively unknown model. I wonder if it was more aimed at rimfire users? Even if the parallax is set at 100yds I would not expect too much error at air gun ranges?

If nobody knows about the specific model, please can you advise whether all 80s TASCO scopes were made well (compared to the newer Chinese versions!) as I get the impression they were.

    Cheers

I.M.O. they are excellent scopes but you have to remember that the reticules are getting old and maybe fragile. Give them a good checking over.

Sounds like a world class model, very refined and well worth a punt.

Well I couldn't resist it and took a punt. The dealer threw in on NOS bushwacker flip up cover for the front and I will source one from JSR for the eye bell.

    Here she is....

    Made in Japan, model # AO-60 11

Can anyone tell me more about it including the age and intended use (it is destined for my recently acquired 1981 venom mk1 HW80)

    Cheers
