Just seen another gun which baffles me. It looks to all the world an old mercury, but there are no markings on the gun at all apart from a serial number 100. The stock is finished in black and on the cheekpiece it is embossed "cobra strike". There is also a picture of a cobra on it. It's in .25 calibre. Can anyone shed any light on it?
EDIT.
I've just found some stuff on the internet. The owner told me he couldn't find anything. He even said he had phoned John Knibbs about it and he said he had never heard of them. Yet there is a piece by him on the net! Go figure that one.

I've see a few in .25, usually in black stocks with gold embossing. Nice piece of kit when running right.
Its pretty much a Mercury / Challenger with a .25 barrel
