Single Powder for 0.38 special cast target and full fat 0.357 loads, possible?

New to pistol calibre reloading but I have a Rossi conditioned for target, vermin and AOLQ.

I would like to load 158 gr cast for gallery rifle that will be slow enough to lead foul the barrel, 110 gr hornady XTP for vermin as fast as I can and 140 grain Hornady FTX fast enough to be small deer legal for anything else.

Locally i can source Viht, Alliant and Hodgdon powders easily, I'd like to stick to 1 powder as its a smaller outlay and keeps things simple, I have read on a few forums across the pond that Lil gun at 16-18gr is a possibility for the FTX so that gives me one option for that load but I'd still like a powder for all 3 if possible.

Anyone doing something similar and what with?
    Thanks for looking

Alliant Blue Dot or Alliant 2400. Blue Dot would be my preferred choice but supplies can be iffy as it's not that popular.

Gallery loads in special cases with a 158gn bullet around a sedate 800fps. 110gn fast and flat with maximum loads in magnum cases of around 1475fps and 140gn bullets around 1300fps with maximum. As the data uses a 4" barrelled universal reciever, you'll get a wee bit faster with the hotter loads and a carbine barrel length.

As an aside, if you also find yourself in a position where you want to load specialised shotgun ammo with shot or slug, Blue Dot is also a great powder for that.

You're going to need to get to over 1900fps with the 140gns to make 1000 f/lbs though.

I use Unique for both Taurus LBR & Winchester 94 rifle loads.

N110 can do this (not H110, they are different) but it will need good lubrication on the lead bullets (high velocity even at minimum loads). It will be cheaper long term to buy a pistol powder for the lead loads.
