    IMR 4895 vs H4895

    As the title is there much difference between the two? seen plenty of load data for the H4895, but not alot for the IMR 4895

    I think from memory imr is slightly faster and not quite as temp stable (although that's not a big deal for us in our climate). Can give very high velocity's in 308 with a 155

    I think you will find that 1 is not made any more ..

    And I also think that the H4895 is now the IMR , or vica versa ..

    When Hogdons bought out IMR, they deleted lots of similar powders & rebranded.

    That's not true mate Imr 4895 and H4895 are defiantly NOT the same powder.

    I only wish back when I was shooting F class they were as getting H4895 was like getting unicorn piss!!

    Try RS52 or Danny's fave, Wildbore.
