    Viper Connect 32 vs 24SL

    I have had the 3-12x32 connect and really liked it. But sold it for funds.

    Now want to get another one but considering the 3-12x24SL. Is the advantage of the depth of field of the 24SL that noticeable compared with the 32 side by side? And I presume the 24SL is lighter althought cannot find any weight data between the two?

    600g vs. 650g for the 32mm objective. The field of view is the same.

    I remember reading something from GaryC to the effect that the 32mm gathers more light so is better in low-light conditions.
