Okay, some may have been owned by some scroaty types, with no real interest or passion of Airguns or our sport. But some may have been previously owned by caring, enthusiast owners.

For those wanting to despose of their rifles and not apply for a licence, could some body (dealer or otherwise) not offer to buy them, arrange multiple collections on the same day and bring them over here for re-distribution / re-use?

This is a lovely statement to make. Imagine if in the wild west the US marshals asked for all the horses to be handed over to the authority because a few outlaws used them to rob the trains or the banks. This is how absurd our law making has become. Insteade of tackling the criminals and remove their rifles they make criminals out of everyone with an airgun and remove the lot. Something is not right with this land of " logic and rational ".
