    Aha.

That explains all, young Dave, and I know he's had issues on and off before.

As we now have a full compliment of the Cleary Clan descending on the Boinger Bash would it be a good time to put in an order of eggs from mrs mole, 3x3x2 wow that's a whole battery of chuckies.

At last I got a few bunnies in the way it should be done - stalking in with the HW100 and no 10ft branch required on this occasion The highlights:

    - Chris catching a squirrel in one of his home-made traps
    - Bagging my first lamped rabbit
    - Staking out in a beautiful woodland in complete peace and tranquility
    - Taking evasive action from a 2 ton bull and some very wary cows with calves which included negotiating a wild river ( slight exaggeration it was a stream) and a rock-face ( mmmm, OK a bit of a steep bank) but great fun

I'm travelling back home today with a massive smile on my face coupled with a tear in my eye for having to leave this lovely part of our country but mostly because I leave a great friend behind.

Many thanks Chris and Spence for yet another brilliant hunting trip
You're entirely welcome mate, I too thoroughly enjoyed our day out together. And was over the moon with your hunting success. Sadly a certain junior is not attending the next bash, he assures me this is because he is at butlins with his mother, and nothing to do with a certain forfeit from last time lol. Oh well the pink cammo and tutu can wait! Seems like forever since the last bash, it will soon be September though, looking forward to seeing you all again.

Getting Nearlier now Tone I bought a Hatsan pistol from a lovely chap off here yesterday, he lives fairly near to me so I went and picked it up. We had the usual like-minded chat about all things air guns and the like and I'm hoping we have another Bash recruit.

I know, I know and anyway it's your fault, I was happy with one until you drew me into 'the dark side'. That's 4 rifles and 2 pistols in a year. So, if I continue at this rate, I will have 150 guns by the time I'm 80 . I will probably be homeless and single as a result also
