Sadly not such a heroic breakage. Dropped an iron gate on it.

Treated myself to dinner from the chip shop tonight, two of their wooden chip forks are serving as finger splints, and some gaffer tape. Will be right as rain in 36 hours, done it before and it gives your fingers extra nobbles.
