Vintage German .177 Pellet Air Pistol TELL II 2 - Check out the price !!

Cant believe the current bid on this item in the US, surely there must have been some insider bidding to get the price up this high, will be interesting to see if any more bids and if it sells.

    Item listing ref : http://www.gunbroker.com/item/566494396

Whats a good Tell 11 worth in the Uk £100 to £200 depending on condition and if mint and boxed ect.

And I thought a Gat pop out (British antique according to the ticket) was expensive at £90 in an NZ shop.

I here you I was following this for a while but lost hope, that is the same price I just paided for a mint boxed- Feinwerkbau 65. But I assume you rarely see them in this condition. I did ask the seller if it fired and he came back that he has never fired it but it did function. That kind of turned me off. Why not put a pellet down it and see?

I would have thought a genuinely mint and boxed Tell 2 would be nearer £400 or maybe £500.

There's one coming up at auction on 2nd July together with an Accles & Shelvoke 'Acvoke' with an estimate of £50 - £80. Don't look to be in great condition, but should do better than that.

It went for a lot of money but what are the chances of seeing one in this condition again, especially in the US? Also I read the Tell 2 is the second smallest Spring Airgun made, what is the smallest?
