My wife DOES know how much my rifle cost - she bought it for me! Blaser R8 Success Mono LH with .22lr. .204 Ruger, 6.5 x 55 and .308
Lovely job, mate - well done.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation
Looks good Gordon and nice period scope on it. I bought some other gun stuff from the original owner (assuming it's no 25L?) Both he and his wife had them from new no 25 and 25l both fitted with Leupold 4-12 VXs. Ask Paul at Sportsmatch for more info he knows the couple well.
I love using my GC2s and would never part with them.
Cheers
Pete
Cheers Adrian, by the way, the 300 stock is nearly finished, and it's looking good
I'm glad I asked someone to strip it as he's had a nightmare with it, but he takes the stocks home with him and just enjoys doing them. Me!! I don't have the patience now, Iv'e tried( with loads of advice from rikard from on here ) but can never get them the way they should be, I called in on Saturday to have a look at it, Geoff was saying he wants to give it two more coats and then finish it off, I'll have to wear cotton gloves I think !!.

Cheers Pete , it is 025L and was sold with out the scope I spoke to Paul shortly before I bought it mainly because I was checking to see if it had been pressure tested, and he told me the history of it, so well pleased with it.
025 went for £350 at Holts Auctions last year, but 025L failed to sell, I'm glad to say.
Regards Gordon.

Very nice Gordon , I don't know how you do it !
You don't have the lottery numbers by any chance do you ?
Craig, the FWB has come on a lot over the last few weeks, feels completely dead to shoot now, setting the barrel tuner and finding the right pellets has been the longest job, but it's strange, because I don't get the buzz out of shooting it as I do from shooting the GC 2 or SR
To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be so pellet fussy, but having said that, with the rifle feeling more run in? now I'm going to go back and try some of the pellets it didn't seem to like earlier, tis all fun!
Take care and atb Gordon.
