I have been diagnosed with cataracts to both eyes, and told it will be at least a couple of years before I need surgery, and I don't want to give up competition until I have to, but I am struggling to get a good view on standard LBR/LBP 'iron' sights.

I am fine with scopes and red-dot sights, and I have a Match-Dot sight on my LBR, set at 2MOA, which works well for me. These sights aren't available in the uk, and are a little heavy, totally unsuitable for a slide mount on an LBP. I have just swapped my old LBP for a K22, and found that they use Shield Mini- sights, but these don't have a variable MOA, and you have to select before you buy.

My question is, has anyone out there used these sights, and bearing in mind they self-adjust for light level, are they still well visible in bright sunlight? I wanted to get a 2MOA, but if the 4MOA seems brighter, I might be convinced..
