Anyone got a crosman 2200 magnum receiver please ?

I hacked mine about as a kid. Still have most of it, but the receiver isn't fixable - can't even weld it, the metal's way too cheap and nasty

Has anyone got a receiver for one going spare please ? Or even a cheap knackered project gun if the receiver is in half-decent condition ?

I just hate having stuff around I can't fix !

    Thanks in advance, JB

These are available in the states from jg airguns...see their excellent website.
The first price you get will include a silly amount for insured and tracked postage, but if you email John back and ask if he's willing to post at your risk - the cost becomes reasonable (if you're willing to take the risk) - this is what I've done a few times in the past and it's worked for me.

Hope that helps if you can't find something here....

Thanks harvey, will make the enquiry...

Hmmm About $30.. will see what they want for post. On the plus side, at least it;s shiny nickel / chrome; my old one was boring black.

Don't suppose anyone has a cheap one lying arond someplace ?

The early 2200s had the chrome (not nickel) finish receiver.

The bad news is they also had a matching chrome barrel band - an extra $11.20 from JG, unless you want yours looking like a mongrel.

yeah, I know... I was thinking of just making an ally barrel band then again for an extra tenner....
