    Ftp900 or tm100

Looking to do some target shooting..

Have the FTP900 on my radar, also like the look of the Laminate TM1000
    Anyone owned / own the TM1000 ?

I'd like to find a shop with one in stock I could go and try, anyone help please ?

I have owned a TM1000 from the early days, low hundreds serial number, and it continues to Bring alot of pleasure.

Something about the quality makes it feel bespoke and very individual, see the factory tour: https://youtu.be/6ThVmbsMEB4

I have owned Air Arms but never owned a FTP900 so cant compare.

If you look at the spec sheet of the fpt900 then it probably represents one of the best value fo money airguns on the market, that said if I were to choose it would be the tm1000, for me (being garden shed tuner) it is a more versatile platform, barrel, stock ,calibre changes and may other things are easily done by someone with even a modicum of skills.

You need to try them both see which one suits your needs best.

Mass production rifles never have that special feeling that a hand made gun gives you. Yoy'd feel that it was only meant for you even if this is only in your mind.

Just because the silver action on the tm1000 is ugly as hell

Technically I don't know which gun is better, I do like shooting my FTP a great deal, it is a very special rifle.

I am sure the TM1000 is a fine rifle but it's certainly not a looker, very basic and old fashioned styling and for me that's part of it.
Great Deals with : Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
