    HW 35 - no safety ?

I am not a Weihrauch expert, but I have fixed quite a few. Today I rebuilt a really sick HW35, had lots of problems including a barrel bent like a banana. This is the first 35 I have seen with no safety in the Rekord trigger block. Was this the original design ?

Ive got what is called a Pre Safety catch model which is, in this case made in 1969. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...tml?sort=4&o=0

After this came the single sided safety then the latest version were the safety catch goes all the way through.

Thats the one I.J, thanks for the info, first time I have come across this type. Must say I prefer no automatic safety.

    Thumbs up

My 1961 and 1965 both function just nice without the safety.

    My 1965.

Still shooting respectable with the original leather seal
