Anyone ever run an R10 with the regulator removed?

If so, were you happy with the change, and how many decent shots were you able to get in the sweet spot?

    What extra work was required?

The R10 was based on a Scorpion T10 like all the other BSA models. It would be easy to do just requiring it being put back to T10 spec. using Scorpion valve, restrictor, transfer port, inner striker to increase stroke length and fiddling with striker spring

if you are going into the trouble of removing the regulator then why not just replace it with a Huma Reg? It will be a lot less work and probaly a lot cheaper than sourcing all the other bits and pieces for the none reg version. It will probably add a few quid more value to the gun and works reliably unlike the original R10 Reg. Having said that my R10 seems to be working fine, touch wood.
