Gamefair at ragley hall

Yes and no. Two gamefairs were billed instead of the defunct (CLA?) one ... one at Stoneleigh and a 'new' one at Ragley Hall. The Stoneleigh one was cancelled a few weeks ago with people being told the tickets they had bought would be valid for the 'new' Ragley Hall event.

So Ragley Hall is still on.

The Stoneleigh one, run by Blaze publishing, looked the better bet for airgunners, so I bought tickets for that one. Fortunately we can make the Ragley Hall dates, so I'll be there tomorrow. But it looks as though Blaze have been wound up as a result of the failure. They'd recently been bought by another publishing company anyway.

Bought by Future PLC and Nigel Allen at Airgun Shooter is out of a job as the company says it doesn't need an editor which is odd for a magazine.

Yeah I thought that. Would hate to see Ian Barnett or Mat Manning go, they're the best writers around

As one regular writer for Airgun Shooter has posted elsewhere that he hasn't been paid by Blaze since March, I couldn't blame any contributors from quitting if they were in the same position.
