It is a 30mm diameter seal mate. The last one I did I made a piston head adaptor and fitted a HW80 seal which short stroked the action by around 4 mm. Shot very well with this modification.

Just got a 0.177 example of/one of these, in a CS800 stock. Needs a bit of work to tidy up the metalwork but shoots nicely, although a bit "boingy". Now sporting a nice boosted Leup 18-40 EFR
What size piston seal do these beasties take, and what do people who have got inside one of these suggest for a nice sub-12 ft-lb tune to take out the twang?

Current airguns:- Steyr LG110: Steyr LP10: Air Arms HFT500: Weihrauch97 fully customised.
I sleaved mine down to 25mm
If sticking with 30mm, I'd do as Neil suggested, but shorten the stroke a good deal more - by at least 15mm
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
lol..
tp is 3 x 13mm; it benefits from being opened up a little... my sleave down is now 3.2 The full 30mm versions probably need a bit more
stroke you'll have to wait 'till I'm in Zambia next, where my "full power" .22 is missing me... but it's more than an HW80; around 90mm IIRC.
Piston weight is near 400g

Thanks for the advice guys.
I'll be sticking with a 30mm piston for now, so shortening the stroke by 10-15mm and open the TP t 3.2mm - would that be about right?
