    Thanks

That is interesting as I use fed 205s for 0.223 and even near max loads I've never had a pierced primer (unlike pistol primers in hornet which everyone raves about, never again!)
    Thanks for looking

Quite a few have Danny. When I started Myles sold me the copper coloured ones under a different flag, but apparently the KVB223s also started this way which is why I got 2000 of the things. My bolt face is now nicely pitted with either blow outs on the angle of the primer or the pin.

Either way they aint going near my AR again...ever....not even boxed.....no chance.....

It shooting well at the mo as well, although I have dropped to 24grains.

It's my understanding that the KVB223 is for bolt guns, and the KVB556 version is designed for ARs and military type rifles (something to do with floating firing pins IIRC) and that has a thicker cup and more primer brisance. There's also a KVB223M which is a mixture of the same brisance as the standard KVB223 and the thicker cup of the 556.

Exactly the same for me, the copper unplated ones cratered my vz bolt face quite badly. No gas coming back at me otherwise id have stopped shooting them a lot sooner than i did. I too bought 2000 of them and they are now relegated to 310 cadet with no problems at all.

Turns out a few AR shooters have had the same problems, you live and learn. Bradders has 200 suitable primers for me and I still have 500 or so BR4s left.
