Changing primers always se me and I result in a poi change, it's changing the way ignition begins so will change the harmonics, which will change poi.
The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!

Change anything, primer brand, case brand, even Lot-number of powder, will likely change a POI.

Once I find a load that is sweet with the tune of my rifle, I stick to it.

Not directly connected, but when we went from .308 with LR primers, to the small primer Lapua .308 brass with BR4s, (FTR) we had to add approx .5gr extra to make up for the loss of velocity.

Have you tried remington 6 1/2 primers? Designed for the hornet and work very well.
