A well deserved Silver,my one fingered typing just prevailed and as I have family passing Martock, it was meant to be. Just need to squash some .22 pellets in the vice now

    Hello Pete,

Congratulations on finally getting your hands on the .25 Service I know you have been after for some time.

I was surprised how accurate and pleasant to shoot the rifle is in this calibre, particularly using Rhino pellets.

Maybe some pictures when you receive the rifle.

    Regards

    Brian

No need Pete, just shoot a .177 at a Barn door once- it becomes a .22, once again and it's a .25.

    Hi Brian,

The 18/19 grain Rhinos are probably the best pellet for the .25 Webley Service and I have a healthy supply for a forthcoming test.

Thanks to Binners' generosity, I have a supply of original Webley Special .25s which I also intend to test in the rifle. I just need to do the rifle justice and not mess up the accuracy part as the pellets are as rare as the rifle!

    John
Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

    Hello John,

Look forward to hearing the results from your .25 pellet comparison with the originally recommended Webley Special.

Will this trial be featured in a forthcoming magazine article, or is it just for your personal interest ?

    Regards

    Brian
