If thats the case, and he's agreeable, get a filling adaptor from best fittings and ask if he'll fill your rifle. Or buy a stirrup pump or bottle,

Bottle needs a new test but there's over 200 bar in it for now.

As long as it's dive quality (dry) air you'll be alright but your original post said 'garage' compressor which I wouldn't recommend.
